Crunch

Only 4 more days to finish up!  Well... 3, because I work open to close tomorrow :(


Layers are building up and things are getting closer to finished!
Last sneak peak before the show!   Finished shots after that.

And something is up with my camera or the cord or lightroom.  Images are getting dull and greyed out lately.  Greyed out... new phrase.   Hopefully I'll figure it out and get it fixed.  Tried playing with these in lightroom to get them closer to the original image I took, but it didn't work well.

Most of the pieces are very close to finished.   My opening is September 4th, and I've already started on the show flyer.   It's a bit unreal having stared at this pieces for months.  

 Ben's portrait is the first to reach the complete state.   Milo and Parker's collaborations will be finished by Sunday.  Next week I hope to finish my self portrait, Papaw's piece, and Amelia's.   I'm crossing my fingers that I get to the drawers (*I have 4 portraits, and possible a 5th on those).    Trying to prioritize at this point.

Alan's Going Away Party

Here We are Again

Today marks the first day of school!  This is our second year at Community Montessori, and it feels like home.   Milo is in his second year of early education (preschool), and Parker moved up to the 6-9 year studio!   Today is Ben's first day as a teacher for the 12-14 year olds.  

Moo went in to his studio and made himself at home.  I'm happy he'll be there for another two years.  I'm going to lose it when he leaves.  I absolutely love his teachers. 

Parker was super "nervecited" (nervous and excited she said).  But as I passed the class room for the 3rd time, she had snagged up a little girl and was dragging her around by the hand.   She's pretty amazing at making new friends.
